The Harvest is Coming in Bangladesh
Praise the Lord. We are so thankful to our brethren who are praying for and supporting us continually.
God works through His children and has surely touched many through GMFC. We are working in Bangladesh as soldiers of God. Besides preaching the Gospel, we have a Christian school named Everlight Elementary School which is an English version school. This is the first mission school of GMFC in Bangladesh and situated in Botiaghata, Khulna. This school first started in January 2017. We build this school on a piece of land with a 3 year agreement and is in a Hindu dominated area where we shine HIS light. This school consists of a good governing body and well educated teachers. Kona Biswas, my wife, is the acting principal of this school. There are 5 teachers 1 nanny and 1 night guard. This is a wholly tin shade school. This school has 4 classrooms, 1 teacher’s room, 1 store room and 2 toilets. It also has a guardian waiting room and a small playground. We educate 35 students in various classes (kindergarten to class one) at this school. Students are learning through good environment about Jesus in this country that is 90% Muslim and 9% Hindu. We keep this school net and clean and our teachers are well educated and punctual. Every single month two times they visit the students parents at their houses. We do not have this school officially funded (monthly) but the LORD always seems to provide. Praise HIM!
Every moment of our life we should praise our Living God. From God’s word 1 Chronicles 16:34 “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.” We have to obey Him and submit to His government to receive His eternal love. I teach the gospel to them and we discuss God’s word so we can understand His commands and grow in the truth. Through this Local fellowship, we praise and give thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ and pray for all our missionaries, brethren and for the lost to turn to the One, True, Living God.
As you know, we pray for the land to provide a great harvest. We are giving our best effort on this land the LORD blessed us with. We planted many fruit trees and stocked various types of fishes in the pond. We are also cultivating many vegetables. Fishes are gradually growing big. We take care of the land daily even though it is a bit for us to travel there because of distance. I and my father go to the land every day, please pray for the land. We believe God will take care of the land through our efforts. We are praying to build a small house/storeroom on the land to live there full-time which will save on rent and will enable us to sell from there.
