Training Up Children in the Lord & Baptisms in Bangladesh
SEPTEMBER 16TH, 2018 UPDATE: Praise the Lord. All Glory to my Lord, His blessing and mercy for us as we labour for Him. I am very thankful to Lord because He using me and my team for His Kingdom in Bangladesh. We are working to evangelize the Lord Jesus Christ to the lost.
My team has been very active and working hard for the ministry. I am thankful to the Lord for all of them. Pastor Tapon and Pastor Nimai are doing great as they visit the mission fields multiple times per week to teach and preach. Last Sunday ,I attend Ulludanga Church to join in Sunday worship. The good news is we baptized 5 people. They are regular fellowshippers at our church for the last few months;. During that time, Pastor Tapon and Pastor Nimai teach them and have had regular contact with them. They have had classes and have truly repented. We are very thankful to Lord for this worthy call. We also visited with all of our sponsor children and widows. I talked to and prayed for them as they had humble prayer requests. We also provided them soap. This is rainy season and now will attack with waterborne diseases. All widows and children were very happy. They thank to all donors of GMFC / WFF who provide help and pray for them.
SEPTEMBER 18TH, 2018 UPDATE: Yesterday we visited our land project. I like to say again Praise Lord because He is my Lord blessing us with our work. We saw the fish are growing and hoping in December we can get them out to support our fellow brethren. Vegetable plants and fruit trees are giving harvest every week. Not much as it’s out 1st harvest but its good for now as we get used to working the land. We know next year it will be huge in Jesus name. We are using organic fertilizer and its working well, our trees are very healthy. We are asking for prayer for our land project.
My wife Kona is leading the school with the blessing of God. She really has a good and energetic teacher’s team and they are giving their best to the children. Our main goal is to teach the children about the Lord and to teach them how to grow in Christ. We believe that if they can hold this teaching in their life, they will not forget till they die. Pro 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” They will stay in the Lord and obey His commandments. We are giving them basic education too because they need it for this world. We provided them with writing pads again this month, they were very happy as were the teachers. We are requesting the saints to pray for our school and teachers.
We believe that everything is happening in His order and your prayer and support is appreciated so very much by so many. We are very thankful to you all for support and prayer. We hope that you will continue pray and support our Bangladesh mission. God bless. -Hilton Biswas (Bangladesh Overseer)
